My Voice Experience
I am a professional actress with a BFA from Stephens College. I have performed Off Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway and in regional theatre in both musicals and straight plays. I have done several radio commercials: I was the long-suffering wife in a cable spot, A perky parade announcer in a Loan commercial, a Fussy mom for a carpet ad, the wife in a sweet older couple in a Volunteers of America PSA, and a grandmother teaching her grandaughter to make a bomb in her kitchen for PLAYSTATION. To name a few.
I was the voice for The Wellness Community in a spot featured on ESPN and the narrator for a point-of-purchase video for a supplemental product called OLIVENOL.
Because of the warmth and clarity of my voice, I have done many phone hold messages.
I am currently being sent out on professional voiceover auditions by several New York voice over agents: Suzy Friedman, Ginger Dicce, Eileen Haves, Naomi Kolstein, Phil Cassese and Sue Winik, plus several managers: Ingrid French, Suzanne Schachter and Michael Katz.
My Training
I studied Voice-overs first with Ruth Franklin and then joined David Zema's Voice of Success program where I continue meeting new contacts and polishing my skills.
I have also studied acting, singing and dance.

Additional Skills
I think acting training is always valuable for a voice talent because trained actors are taught to take direction and use the words on the page, to find the character in the words.
Because I am a trained singer and recording artist, I can readily find the phrasing in long copy, I have good breath control and am at home in any recording facility.
I have performed on-camera in commercials and film and of course, on stage.
Oh, and I also have a lot of sound effects in my repertoire, like growls, gurgles, animals etc.
