Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I do a range of different American Southern accents.(Ante-bellum, redneck, classy trash, etc.) For American Northern accents there is New York, Boston, Fargo/Canadian. For British accents, I can distinguish between Cockney, Liverpool, city British. There are also Scottish, Irish, Australian, and Russian accents I do. Characterization depends on the character, creating new ones is part of what I do.

My Voice Experience

After interning for 1 week, the radio network realized that they could just turn me loose, and I would bring them quality work. I was writing, producing, and voicing an average of three spots a week for them. Projects include tags for the Atlanta Hawks, Comcast, Geico, Petsmart, Vault, and the Georgia Clean Air Force.

My Training

Graduated top of my class(valedictorian & voted most likely to succeed) from the Atlanta Broadcast Institute, followed by a double internship at Cox Radio-Atlanta in productions. Responsibilties include copywriting, producing, editing, dubbing, etc.

My Studio Equipment

The basics are all that you really need. A SHURE SM58 and an ST-LightSnake.

Additional Skills

Remember the quiet guy in high school who always had his nose in a book? That was me. My writing skills are sharp. I spent most of my time in theater programs. My copy interpretation and characterization skills reflect this. For the three years of chorus my range was 2nd Tenor to 1st Bass. My voice has range. Karaoke is a vice I enjoy. You have to be able to laugh at yourself or life is just no fun.
