Voice Description
Warm mid-range with a little crackle or rasp for a friendly spokesman or man on the street; a smooth, manly elegance for sophisticated sales projects; gritty, rugged and low for period and atmospheric pieces; educated, articulate, and precise for technical narrations. Can be pompous & pretentious or cozy & grandfatherly; bleak & weary for character pieces, or up-beat and energetic for hard sells. Brings a natural, real-person feel to everything--a sense of authenticity.

My Voice Experience
HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Trained as an actor, I began doing voice work in Buffalo, NY while doing theatre & teaching at Buffalo State. Moving back to Seattle, where I was pursuing a Ph.D. at UW, I began actively pursuing voice work in 1978. After 3 years and while I had a national TV spot running, I moved down to the big pond--LA. I got an agent and booked a few gigs--movie trailers, commercials. After about 3 years, I moved to Las Vegas, went into the gaming industry and did voice work as a sideline--commercials, narrations; affiliated with Studio Center for 10 years; announcer for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, documentaries. Since separating from Studio Center 3 years ago, I've been ramping up to hustling aggressively for myself in the new on-line world of voice acting.
