I love voice work! I have been exploring my voice directly over the past 15 years, and have created several characters for the stage all with a wide range of vocal qualities. My voice over career consists mostly of many recordings that were used for theatrical works. I am a theatre artist, and vocal work is by far my favorite part of the process. I love exploring my voice experientially and finding a sound quality that best suites a specific character.
MFA in Contemporary Performance from Naropa University and BFA in Theatre Ethelyn Friend, Saul Ryan & Carol Mendelson of the Roy Hart Theatre, and Liz Stanton. I attended a weekend intensive called Uncovering Treasures of Body with Meredith Monk, Lanny Harrison, and Judy Lief. And I have experience with Patsy Rodenburg and Smolover techniques taught by Celena Sky April at Salem State University. I have explored vocal work as part of my psychophysical acting technique with Steve Wangh, Kate Kohler Amory, Lenny Sack, Kevin Kulke, and Elizabeth Watt. I have also studied music composition with Gary Grundei.
