I have done voiceover work for several years, primarily for private individuals. I wish to broaden my voice over work here, so am new to Voice123. I have been a singer/song-writer since the late 1980's, and sang on the 1989 squad of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, performing with the Show Group on USO tours all over the world. I have years of recording experience. I toured for a short time with an all-female band, and am a song-writer.
I majored in vocal performance and media arts at West Texas State University (now known as WTAMU), Canyon, TX. I began performing in local bands in Amarillo, TX, then made the squad of the 1989 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. I performed on the squad for one year, singing and dancing in Korea, Philippines, Diego Garcia, Bahrain, and all over the US. I have been a part of many local bands and musical groups since then. I currently sing professionally for a local DFW area church in their contemporary praise band. I have recording experience, as well as songwriting capability. I go to yearly performance conventions with my church, honing my skills and abilities.
I currently have a home studio, use a Blue Snowball mic, and Music Creator software.
I have performed from a very small child all the way to this week, so have confidence galore. I enjoy performing, and don't get rattled very easily. I am completely open to training, as needed, and am open to constructive criticism, as I can only get better with guidance. I prefer to know what is expected up front, so I can give the best final product possible. My goal is a happy client, and hopefully a great, long-term working relationship. I am flexible so as to be as accommodating as possible.
