Voice Description

Vivacious and daring; I can be afraid one moment and bravehearted the next. My singing/speaking voice over can range from low tenor/alto to high saprano - depending on the character I need to portray. I've given several PowerPoint presentations with narration, worked in Children's volunteer reading groups and acted in church musicals/plays as both narrator, singer and actress. My voice overs can be soft and sultry and also rambuctuous and vivid. My best voice acting is in love stories, biographies and portraying children's fairy tale characters (princess, witch, female chancellor, animal)

My Voice Experience

My voice acting began at the age of 8 when I narrated our school's production of "What I want for Christmas (Humboldt Park Elementary)and continued into Jr. high school and Senior High School (Bay View Sr. High; Milwaukee) when I also acted in school production and sang in the chorale. While at Carroll College (Waukesha, WI) I sang in the Choral Union, school choir and acted in plays. In my home technician role, I was volunteer voice actor reader for the St. Francis Public Library group and also was a volunteer reader at the Lad Lake Home for boys in Dousman, Wisconsin. I've also been room volunteer for my children's elementary homerooms as a reader.

Additional Skills

As a mother of three, I've also had 19 years of voice acting as narrator of books/stories I've been reading to my children. Putting voices to the characters always livened up the stories and brought the fiction to life. Plus I LOVE to be out of my own character and play act that I'm someone else; it takes me out of mediocrity.
