I have been doing voices all my life, but doing voice-overs I've just started.
It was only a small time ago that I really discovered my talent in voice-over. I was on the computer in the living room when it happened. I was bored. I saw that my father's music equiptment was in the living room and he wasn't home. The first thing that caught my eye was my dad's stage microphone and his huge amplifier. So, I turned everything on and I decided to entertain myself. I did a movie voice over voice by saying my name, "Calvin". My eyes got big and I couldn't believe that sound was coming out of my mouth. So, I decided to say other things like "In a world.." etc. I actually tried to sound like Don Lafonte (laughs). I tried doing goofy cartoony voices and that blew me away also. That was the day I discovered this talent and so here I am starting out and trying to make something of it.

A Samson Studio Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone with a Pop-Disabler and sound editing programs such as Cakewalk's Sonar LE, Sony Sound Forge 9 and Sony Vegas 8 PRO.
I am also a part time filmmaker (laughs). Filmmaking is my main goal, but also my hardest one to reach. Filmmaking as a production is somewhat similar to sound production.
There is a deadline that must be met and they are both time consuming.
So, I know how important it is to have excellent execution to save time and money.
