Live from KBDG - the Voice of the Barking Bulldog its Bruce the Voice Over Talent!
Having been Introduced to radio broadcast in high school in 1975, I have been active in recordings and public speaking. After 9 years as a paid professional speaker (I was the regular pulpit minister for a number of churches in Michigan and Indiana), to making a living by talking on the radio as an Air Traffic Controller, I have been active in communications.
I have also served as the voice of the FAA Managers Association Conference for over 10 years in Las Vegas Nevada.
I have 5 years of voice training, as well as 9 years of organized music (instrumental and vocal) training. During the late 1980's and early 1990's I was the lead singer in "His Servants", an a cappella Male Quartet.
I have a BA in Bible and Religion - with an emphasis on public speaking, with a minor in music (vocal).
Since 1973 I have been involved in various forms of drama - including stage productions. I have performed voice overs for numerous projects and training conferences and workshops for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Recording is initiated on a Behringer B-2 Pro Dual-Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone. The B-2 Pro is a high-performance dual-diaphragm studio condenser microphone. Vocalists and recording studio owners will be amazed by its uncompromising audio performance and features such as the additional low cut filter. The B-2 Pro provides a slightly pronounced 12 kHz range, producing the kind of 'presence' that often eliminates the need for high-frequency EQing that would raise the overall noise floor. The B-2 Pro provides that much-desired transparency that can only be found on high-end large-diaphragm condenser mics. Key features include selectable cardioid, omnidirectional or figure-8 directivity pattern. The low-cut filter removes distracting low-frequency sounds, and built-in shielding minimizes high-frequency interference. A 10 dB attenuator can be used with high volume signal sources.
Final capture is on the ZOOM H4n. David Preuss, a Sound Engineer from Baja, CA recently reported: "I can't see you getting a better, more clear and accurate recording."
Post-production is completed on a MacBook Pro using Apple's Soundtrack Pro, with the ability to provide royalty free music and/or sound effects.
