I did radio commercials on a daily basis when I was afternoon drive guy for a country station in Alberta. I also wrote, edited, recorded and produced radio bits on a daily basis. IGA, Co-Op, Hunting Equipment Stores, Car Dealerships, Public Service Announcements, Sustainable Resource commercials, whatever needed to be done. Also did many live on location spots.

I was in the animation industry for about 17 years, producing children's tv shows. Worked in Korea and China as supervisor and Unit Director. I have been a musician and performer since 1972; lead and back-up vocals, trumpet, tenor sax, guitar and keyboards in various bands from rock and roll ("Avalanche") to Dance ("The Group Called Brown") to big-band ("Murphy's Big Band") to Polka and German Waltzes ("Swing Masters"). Even did a couple Santa Claus parades along the way. I've MC'd live shows from country music jamborees to Davis Award ceremonies. They say an animator is just an actor who isn't on-screen... hmmm, sounds like voice-acting has that in common.
