Performing and recording voiceovers is no different to me than singing in my old high-school choir, or performing onstage around the country for audiences of thousands as a bass player.
I'm used to putting my talents out there for the masses. I love it.
Voiceover performing and recording has grown to be every bit as rewarding and enjoyable as my live musical performances always have been.
Driving around on some afternoon and hearing my work come over the radio is a pretty cool feeling. I'm addicted now.
I got into this business because every friend, family member and/or business associate has told me I had a great voice. Easy to listen to, pleasing to hear. That's pretty much all I needed to know.
Being a musician and vocalist for over 25 years has conditioned me well. I'm at perfect ease in the studio behind a microphone and I know how to use my voice well.
The musician side of me necessitated the learning of audio recording and mixing, as I've done for over ten years on my own.
