My Voice Experience
I have over 30 years experience as a radio and television writer, producer, moderator, and narrator. I have been the host of the nationally syndicated news magazine program TAKING ADVANTAGE (produced and recorded by Paramount Television in Los Angeles), the regionally syndicated Ohio Lottery game show CASH EXPLOSION, and I have been a news, weather, and sports anchor in Providence, RI, Charleston, WV and Columbus, OH. I am extremely proficient at writing for and hosting news magazine programs.
I have also been host and moderator of numerous live and videotaped presentations for businesses and industries nationwide. I have hosted Wendy’s World, the in-house video news magazine of Wendy’s International. Host and moderator of the Kroger Senior Expo in Columbus, Ohio. Proctor & Gamble has used me to moderate their soap division’s quarterly regional sales meetings, in a series of new product introduction seminars. I have written and produced numerous videos for a number of clients nationwide.
I was executive producer and narrator for a video about the life and times of Astronaut and American hero John Glenn. The video is played daily as part of the curriculum at the John Glenn School of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
My Training
My experience over the years working with directors and producers for all types of programing including live and taped programs of ALL kinds has provided me with all the education anyone would ever need to succeed as an on-camera and voice/over talent. My many years of doing "live" television as a news, sports and weather anchor as well as an on-camera host of numerous news magazine programs, news specials, and the Ohio Lottery's game show "Cash Explosion" has prepared me well.
My education includes an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales College of Business in Providence, R.I. I have earned The National Weather Association's "Seal of Approval." A local Emmy Award as host of the locally produced news magazine program "Front Page Saturday Night" for WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio.
