Bobby has been a voice-over professional doing radio & TV commercials, radio imaging, trailers & promos, and corporate video for over 20 years. His clients include Nike, Walt Disney Pictures, Super Supplements, Ford, and United Way.
Bobby's narration experience started with doing "classified" video narrations for the Department of Defense (DoD). The producer used to joke with Bobby saying "Nice job today, but I can't let you put any of this stuff on your demo reel... because it's all classified".
Bobby trained for three years with dramatic speech & diction coach Maestro Bruce Howard. During another three year period, Bobby studied with the late soap opera star Margaret Mason from LA, and was soon cast in an independent feature film called "Cosmic Ray" by director Sam Severn.
Bobby has worked out with Hollywood voice-over coaches Rodney Saulsberry and Pat Fraley and continues to study with NYC's premium "network promo" voice-over coach, David Lyerly.
Approachable, fun, and all business when he needs to be.
Bobby has studied with the best in order to enhance his skills as a voice performer by continued dramatic acting and on-camera training.
After completing broadcasting training with Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Bobby was immediately hired by a local AM radio station. Already a home studio owner & producer, he soon started writing, voicing & producing station imaging and commercials for the station's sales staff, after his air-shifts.
Voice-over & acting training started with Seattle greats Veronica Weikel and Pat French. Bobby has also studied Improv with Second City's "First Lady of Improv", Roberta Maguire.
Commercial audition workshops with Seattle's legendary casting directors Jodi Rothfield and Heidi Walker.

Here are some testimonials about my voice-over work:
Hi Bobby,
You do a wonderful job of storytelling and engaging the listener. I would highly recommend you to others because of the quality of the work that you do and your responsiveness to our scheduling requirements.
Kristian Pruitt / Director of Marketing and Communications - Kids Alive International
It's a pleasure dealing with Bobby Sheldon for voice-over projects. He is a consummate professional and delivers excellent work with accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail. It's refreshing to deal with someone who actually delivers as promised, and then some. I have no hesitation in recommending Bobby for voice over work.
Vito Ceniti / President - Netasis Internet Inc.
Yeah, like all his agents have said, Bobby does great work, is very reliable and easy to direct . . . just don't be surprised at how much he likes being locked in a soundproof room with padded walls.
S. Mitchell / Audio Engineer - Monroe, WA
Bobby reads copy so well because he spends a lot of time talking to his dog. He keeps waiting for "Elmo" to talk back. If that ever happened, I'm afraid Bobby would be speechless. Of course, then he couldn't do voice-overs, but he'd have a great new career with the circus . . .
