My Voice Experience

Currently the voice of The Resource Network software training series and Luxury Living On Demand, a high-end real estate services site in Chicago. I just finished writing and voicing a New York City guide for iaudioguide.com, with a target audience of non-native English speakers, and I write a blog about family travel that was noted by National Geographic Traveler.

I teach acting and voice at the university level (James Madison University) and have over 10 years' experience in public radio. Luckily for me and for my clients, public radio values an authentic presence over a pushed, faux-friendly sound, so I haven't had to fight the announcery quality that traps so many vo talents.

My Studio Equipment

I have a home studio with a Rode Podcaster mic to record dry voice MP3 or WAV/AIFF files for delivery via email, CD, or ftp posting to your site.

Through my work at WMRA, a National Public Radio affiliate, I have on-demand access to ISDN in state-of-the-art facilities less than a mile from my house. Per hour rate is reduced because I am an employee there.
