Voice-over work has always been something that interests me ever since I got into the radio industry at the age of 15. I've always been told by friends and co-workers that this job would suit me well as I have a very overactive imagination and can manipulate my voice in ways most can't.
Some of my favorite ads ever done have been halloween ads where I make myself sound like a creature of the night and others where we are being goofy and entertaining such as a line of ads for a redimix company where we made them sound like they were a part of the Italian Mafia and then later hosted an "American Idol" of sorts for that company where we had bunches of different characters singing songs about concrete.
Other favorites have been narrations for life videos, home movies, and weddings.
I have worked 10 years in the radio industry in just about every position besides General Manager. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an Associates in Psychology. I have participated in plays both in college and high school, participated in the school newspaper in the editing department and journalism department.
I run Cool Edit pro 2.2 with a cardoid microphone run on an Audioblaster Audity sound card. My office set up is very nice in that it is in a confined space to reduce echo and allows me to work comfortably from home.
I have been writing since I have learned how. My favorite activities growing up were Roleplaying games where we got to play different characters and just be different people.
