Voice Description

I have a naturally deep voice that ranges from mid tenor to a warm bass which is good for inviting, instructing,and comforting. I receive many compliments about my voice. Because I recite poetry often, I use vocal dynamics to keep my audience locked in and focused during my time at the mic. My wife often shares that my voice calms and sooothes her senses after a very rough day and my friends always tease me that my voice is one of a commander.

My Voice Experience

I am a drummer and a poet and I have mixed the two for many recital engagements and seminars.for schools, cultural events and Church. I have been a M.C. on different occasions and I have spoken on cable TV as well as on live radio. My voice has also been used for sound effects in local plays. I also have a cartoon voice that I share with the children in our family that they throughly enjoy. I use that voice to encourage them to be their best at all times!

My Training

I have had some training at the Radio Broadcasting Academy in Orange County, California. I study speech on my own and I practice voice clarity and projection. I plan on returning to school once I retire from my job in about a year or so.
