My first involvement with voice over was in 2005(Februaty-November) in Manila, the Philippines when I did sportscasting duties for basketball games, live on-cam, in a 16 years old and under league sponsored by a local cable company named Global Destiny Cable. In between that I did brief presentations for the said company in connection to the league. In 2006 (March-November) I again did sportscasting for another basketball league under a different entity named National Basketball Conference(NBC) based in Manila but with games out of town , mostly. The said league is a commercial amateur league with teams representing the various regions of the Philippines. I either covered them live on-cam, either in Manila or in some regions out of Manila(whenever my schedule permitted it) or went to the studio to cover them via voice over. For both experiences I did a combination of play by play and analyst, sometimes with a partner or solo. I had a one evening stint in April 8, 2006 doing duties for a Mixed Martial Arts event in Pasig City(a suburb east of Manila), taped as live and some portions done in a studio doing voice over, both with a partner who was the analyst. In October of 2006, I was a co-host and voice over personality for the Metroball Show, produced by the commisssioner of a local commercial league named Metro Basketball Tournament(of which I played also). I did 3 episodes of the said show. Overall I would have continued these aforementioned experiences the followuing year(2007) but I had to migrate to the USA(Baltimore, Maryland) with my wife(January 12, 2007).
I am a College graduate91980) with a Degree of Bachelor of Science of Commerce Major in Marketing Management. I attended a 3-day Broadcasting Seminar held in May 16-18, 2001 and it was conducted by a group of present day broadcasters/sportscasters which they called the Center for Sports Communication.
In my own small way, I can assist in translating English to Spanish and vice -versa, either written or spoken. By profession I'm a salesperson and started as a truck route salesman then became a sales supervisor until I became self-employed, involved in retail(of food and non-food items and medicines).
