My Voice Experience

A successful 27 year radio career has been the foundation in developing my voiceover talent. A 17 year professional sports announcing career has greatly influenced my voice over work. I've been public address announcer for 2 Olympic Winter Games (2002 Salt Lake City, 2006 Torino, Italy), I have been the voice of the last 4 Super Bowls (XL 2006 Detroit, XLI 2007 Miami, XLII Arizona, XLIII Tampa). NHL Announcer for All-Star Games, MLB All star game announcer, Colorado Rockies, Colorado Avalanche, and Denver Broncos.

My voice-over jobs seperate of sports have been full of fun and variety. I continue to develop as a voice actor. I endorse products as a radio voice personality every day. I appear on voicemail messages and voice mail greetings, onhold messages, and telephone voices. I am asking someone to press the pound key right now! I have been the hosting voice for events as large as the NFL Experience, or as intimate as a wedding reception announcer voice for a bridal party.

I have voiceovers on radio and television. I have lent my voice over talent to 100's of commercial clients nationwide. I have been the station identifier voice for over 50 radio stations throughout the United States. I've taught people how use big saws and how to win a 2009 corvette. I tell people when to get on the train and when to get off at Denver International Airport. I've taught the Highway Patrolman about high speed pursuit and help keep the nation informed as the voice of CNN Radio.

My Training

For over 25 years I have made my living exclusively by using my voice talent. My greatest lesson learned is the desire to provide someone who expects something from me with a finished product that exceeds their expectaions. I invite your script direction and will nail that phrase EXACTLY the way you imagined it driving in your car.

My training is predominantly experience driven and self-taught. I began working in radio and recording voice work while I was in high school in Minnesota. I've never stopped training. I've never stopped learning. I have worked with dozens of mentors, influences and trainers which have combined to provide me with the best professional voice training.

An anonymous voice is my specialty. I like to create "Where is that coming from?". That is however only a small segment of the work that I do on a regular basis.
