McGaffey Films has produced two historical documentary films. Its first film, A New Mexico Story: The Bataan Death March to the Atomic Bomb tells the story of an epic POW saga of World War II. The film won a 2002 Telly Award and was screened at the 2003 Santa Fe Film Festival The second film, A Time, A Place, A Race centers on a grassroots Bicycle Race on a the nation's fastest time-trial corse in the sparsely populated Estancia Valley of eastern New Mexico. Both films aired regionally on PBS stations.The second film, A Time, A Place & Race aired on the PBS Rocky Mountain Network. The film discuses a pinnacle moment in the career of seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong transformation from a junior triathlete prodigy to an US Cycling National Team Olympian to one one of the sport's all -time professional greats
McGaffey Films also has produced television ads for The People for Pete 2002 (U.S. Sen. Pete Domenici, NM) campaign, as well as sales videos for Wilson/Binkley Advertising, Las Cruces as well as contract production work with the Albuquerque Motion Motion Picture Company. McGaffey Films, LLC is currently marketing its two documentary films locally and to related Web sites.

Responsible prepress photo reproduction for the Albuquerque Journal - New Mexico's leading newspaper. Job responsibilities required full understanding of offset lithography for "newsprint" paper as well higher quality papers as needed for both news and advertising special sections using Adobe Photoshop ® CS3 software. Upwards of 350 photographs handled daily for the Journal and regional satellite papers. The Photo Tech jobs are being eliminated by the paper's new automated software, Agfa Intelle Tune® as a cost saving measures in the newspaper.
