Katherine is a classically-trained opera singer (soprano), with the ability to sing cross-over, musical theatre, jazz, and pop with equal strength and beauty. She has been performing as a singer and actress since she was very young, first appearing in the chorus of "The Barber of Seville" with Cleveland Opera when she was just 9 years old. Katherine specializes in character pieces, having given life to everyone from a whiny burlesque dancer from the Bronx, to the busy-body town matchmaker in a Russian village. Katherine possesses a keen ear, with the unparalleled ability to pick up accents and dialects and morph her voice at the drop of a hat. Depending on the character, Katherine's voice can be heard as smooth and silky or rough and brassy. Katherine's singing voice is big and rich, with a beautiful, lush timbre. Katherine has a full arsenal of voices and dialects from which she pulls; some specialties include Russian, Cockney (UK), New England (Boston, Worcester, North Shore), New York (Brooklyn, Long Island), Midwest.
