Voice Description

I've always had a naturally good voice. My voice is warm, sexy and smooth naturally. Then it can be fun, uptempo and full of energy when need be. I love doing impressions of Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Martin Lawrence and all of their characters. I also enjoy making people laugh with assorted dialects and accents. (Austrailian, English, Southern, Chinese, etc) I always get compliments on my voice whether hosting live events, broadcasting live on the radio or just simply conversing with someone. I have the natural ability with my voice to crossover into different markets from hip-hop to jazz to adult contemporary. For most, that's a difficult task, but for me, it comes quite naturally.

My Training

I was raised to speak with proper english and annunciation, so quite naturally, radio was easy for me. I'm a member of the National Thesbian Society from 1988 which I believe wouldn't have been possible without the creativity I have with my voice. I've been employed with four major market radio stations since my start in 1992 from Hip-Hop to Jazz to Adult Contemporary. If that's not being flexible and quite simply having crossover appeal.., I don't know what is. I believe my track record and credibility with these stations speaks for itself.

Additional Skills

Not only am I currently on the air, I also do television work as well hosting a monthly entertainment show intitled "Vibe City" thru Brilliant TV Productions. I have hosted and continue to host many events including the Wednesday night Jazz series at Chene Park in Detroit, The Mayor's Ball at Ford Field, The Smooth Jazz Fest in Southfield, 2006 Detroit International Auto Show, The Ferrari Party in Royal Oak Michigan and different venues on a weekly basis in downtown Detroit. I also made my movie debut as the referee in the 2006 blockbuster movie "Crossover" starring Wayne Brady and Eva Pickford.
