Starting in radio many years ago, I tried to make my spots sound different than the others - sometimes with my voice, sometimes with my writing, and sometimes with both.
With the help of my voice coach, Marla Kirban in NYC, I continue to strive for the distinctive, the personal, and the unique, all with the goal of delivering the message in the most direct way: my voice to your ears. Then I was hired by Los Angeles viewer-supported TV station KCET to rebrand the station after they dropped PBS. They'd auditioned the top voices in L.A. and New York, but the producer cast me from my demo reel. I asked why, and he said, "because I BELIEVED you."
Since then I've discovered that audiobooks and narrations give me the opportunity to express even deeper truths. And so the journey continues!

I'm a bitchin' voice editor; I defy you to find my edits!
There are few scripts that I couldn't help punch up.
Yet with all my brilliance, I'm easy to work with.
