I guess you could say I've been doing voice work most of my life - I just wasn't being paid for it until recently. I've done narrations, announcing, advertisements, software demos, phone system messages, singing, and ... well, you get the picture.
I've always enjoyed doing voice work and making words come alive for the listener. I take direction well and am open to all types of voice projects.
My 30+ years in the engineering world makes computer and software issues 2nd nature to me. It also allows me to be comfortable with scripts involving technical subjects.
I have a B.S. in Engineering and have worked in the high tech industries all my life. At the same time I've studied voice acting through numerous books, videos, multimedia presentations, blogs, etc.
My home studio consists of a Samson C03U microphone, mic stand, pop filter, multiple PCs, and a number of audio editing software applications. I can produce files in most any format desired with delivery via e-mail, FTP, HTML link, or snail-mail. I have some music and sound effects available for track backgrounds.
My engineering experience gives me that professional and authoritative style when necessary - particularly when the project involves something that is technical. I am very articulate yet have a smooth delivery.
