About Phil
Prior to entering into the voice over world I was in Elementary Education for seven years.
I taught English Language Arts & Reading; Writing; and Social Studies for 2nd, 3rd and 6th grades. I also spent time in the school's Learning Lab, working one on one with students who had varying degrees of a learning disability. Part of their educational accommodations was oral administration of exams. For this I would record the questions and answers, along with any special instructions on in iPod for the students when they were scheduled to take their exam. This is where the idea for voice over came to mind.
