As a versatile voice chameleon living in Rhode Island, I have a range of accents readily available- generic American, any northeast US accent (Rhode Island, Providence, Boston, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, etc.), midwest accents, southern accents. Abroad, I've got English accents, French, Austrian, German, Australian, and Irish, and I can work on any other specific accents you may need for your project - everything from French vampires to cartoon bugs.
While many of the projects I narrate are business and technology-focused, having deep experience and numerous contacts in that arena, I'm also frequently tapped for fiction narration, young adult novels, and children's books. As an author of multiple books myself, I know how much these projects mean to their creators. I'm open to ideas and flexible, and I love working with authors to make their visions come to life.
Oh, hi! You're still here and reading about me. I'm honored, thank you. Skip ahead to send me a message or continue on to learn more...
At age 10, I was learning a British Cockney accent with a professor of languages as I prepared for the lead role in "Oliver!", the musical. From then on, I was hooked - language and performance are passions. I trained for music theater at Shenandoah Conservatory, where I studied lyric diction under Dr. Aimé Sposato. Post-college, I entered the world of technology and corporate information, becoming one of the top experts in my field, authoring several books, and becoming a professional speaker, instructor, and workshop facilitator. I created a visual model underpinning the new discipline of Information Governance, and that model has become a global standard across the Fortune 500. I've spoken to audiences worldwide both in person and virtually, sharing stages with David Pogue, Dr. Jennifer Golbeck, Dan Heath, and many other incredible people in and around the world of information and technology. Around this time, I was also featured for my political work (successfully lobbying for tuition-free Community College in Rhode Island), writing in various outlets, doing interviews on Sirius XM, podcasts, and the RI ACLU Show.
It was in this stage that life took a turn and became a bit traumatic (as they often do), and I ended up with Complex PTSD (C-PTSD). My path of recovery from C-PTSD's flashbacks and anxiety has meant saying goodbye to crowds and stages, but it has opened a new door: saying hello to recorded audio. Recording audiobooks helps me to be comfortable and safe (despite my disability) while delivering absolutely phenomenal audio for authors. My experiences connecting with audiences from stages as an actor and a keynote speaker allow for deep connection with an audiobook's listeners while adding the emotional stakes to your written words.
This voice could be yours - I'm currently taking on new audiobook projects, and I would love to connect with your work.
Let's record something incredible together - message me now.
