Howdy! My name is Matthew Sailors. As I work to provide for my family and develop my natural vocal talents, I am looking for voice acting gigs as a side hustle. I have some experience volunteering my voice for YouTube inspirational videos. I speak English and Portuguese fluently, and have an elementary familiarity with Spanish.
I have a masculine bass voice type that is naturally soothing, fatherly, and emotionally warm, but which I can also use for intensity and suspense. As a Texas native, when speaking conversationally a hint of a southern drawl may sneak into my tone, but I can easily control this to deliver a neutral American English expression.
I am interested in book or manual narrations, children's stories, and professional settings such as narrating workplace orientation and instruction materials. However I am open to branching out and stretching my comfort zone. My only firm limitation is that I do not accept gigs that require the delivery of profanity, off-color humor, or similar adult content.
