I have been told on a number of occasions throughout my life that my voice calms people. I have always enjoyed reading books outload and with expression. It comes natural to me to express how I feel when I read something. My smile is genuinely heard when reading something funny. When I read something more serious, the sorrow or grief tends to well up within me and spill over into my narration, making for a very believable read. I discovered my enjoyment for voiceover work years ago when I worked as a disc jockey at Cat Country 107 FM in Ft. Myers, Florida. In addition to my overnight, on-air personality duties, I also had commercial spot assignments for local businesses that were part of my duties. This was where I started to play around with my voice and work on inflection, tone, timing and emotion. I have, seamlessly, integrated these skills into my voice acting portfolio. I believe my forte lies in the world of audio books. As a seasoned narrator, I have a "knack" for transporting audiences into the heart of a story, with my voice. With my calming cadence, I tend to effortlessly bridge the gap between words and emotions, turning each narration into an unforgettable journey. My voice holds a unique charm that resonates particularly well with a 40-something demographic, making me an ideal choice for commercials targeted at mothers, doctors' offices, dental clinics, educational content, phone systems, video game actor and children's books. I believe my voice carries a comforting familiarity, lending authenticity to each message I convey. I would find it so rewarding and enjoyable when after successfully completing a voice over project for a client, they affirm, "that's just what our project needed"!

  I have worked as an on-air personality at Cat Country 107 FM in Ft. Myers, Florida. I have produced several local spots for that radio station. Some of those advertisements include Badcock Home Furniture, Cobb Theatres, Roadhouse Bar and Grill, local political spots, and station identifiers. My voice is versatile, however, I believe my best and most believable sound comes in the form of a middle-aged, warm yet expressive "mom-ish" type sound that is friendly, easy on the ears and calming. I think my voice would be best suited for audiobooks, doctor/dentist office spots, educational tutorials and the like. I have made up a character based on my very own Aunt Bibs who was toothless at times and had a cute southern accent. This character, of course, would need the right setting to really work.
