"It is my pleasure to give two thumbs up for Larry. He has been there for me so many times and has gone above and beyond at twelfth hour. When I waited weeks for someone else to do a job and would get incredibly frustrated I knew I could always come to him for the most professional voice and in a timely manner. He has been my saving grace on more than several occasions. His professionalism and general kindness in a busy environment is a breath of fresh air. Thank you Larry for all you do!!!"

Quoted from Bob Doll's book entitled "The Radio Funny Book".
"For 25 years Larry Long has been one the "best voices" in the Kalamazoo Michigan radio market. He started out during his sophomore year in high school (1974) as Sunday announcer at his hometown station WAOP Otsego.
In those days Larry was an aspiring guitar player. He practiced while the taped preachers were on. One Sunday he forgot to turn off the control room microphone. A couple of preachers had unscheduled pop guitar behind their sermons.
OK my guitar career was short.
In 30 years I've worked and learned from some very gifted people. Experts who taught me voice techniques and production skills.
I've sharpened my acting skills through belonging to All Ears Radio Theatre Group as well as a couple others. Yes, I've even done Shakespeare.
I'm also a former student and associate instructor for the Dale Carnegie Human Relations course.
I have a home studio with the Audio-Technica AT3035 microphone with Scarlett 2i2 interface.
• Voicetracking
Voicetracking has become an integral part of radio. For your benefit I won't try to misrepesent or offer things I can't reasonably provide. I'm really not equipped to handle on-air phones and interviews in radio shows. I'll further admit I'm what's known as a "liner card jock." I admit this so you can make an easier decision. This makes me best suited to Lite Rock, Country, Smooth Jazz and Classic Rock formats if you present a more laid-back approach to it.
So if you're looking for a smooth well-paced radio show that keys on your promotion liners and your website with a friendly adaptive presentation let's talk further. I study the market you're in and read about the town to get a feel for what kind of vibe your city enjoys.
So if you want to round out your programming day with a smooth, edited, localized voicetracked show, please ask further.
