The last time I was recording our band's latest EP in a Denver studio, the engineer caught one of my cartoon voice impressions in a track and played it back to me. I am always entertaining the studio in between tracks with my voices, sounds, and impressions. "Kellie, you should seriously consider voice acting." I could hear him giggling.
After years of being in a studio working with my voice as a singer, voice acting seems like a natural extension of the vocal art I already love. My background in theater helps to add to my performance capabilities and my work as an instructor definitely allows me to keep my writing, reading, and articulation skills sharp. I have just finished a voice over PBS -- Care and Share Food Drive and look forward to doing my Bork voice for a piece for Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz!
