After being told literally 100s of times that I should pursue voice work, in 2009 I began taking Voice classes with the renowned VoiceTrax in California, as well as working one on one with experienced Voice Actors.
The following year I recorded my first national spot, doing audio and video for United Healthcare. Since then I have recorded work for clients large and small, ranging from local businesses to PG&E and top Fast Food companies. From commercials and corporate training to voice mail systems. This is not a hobby, it is a full time career.
I have done radio and TV commercial spots, as well as long form TV and film narration, and internet video voice over for new product introductions and technical instructions.
I enjoy the challenge of working with the client, asking questions and offering alternatives as needed, to make sure they get a voice result that surpasses their expectations. I can also offer input on copywriting and editing as I have worked in both the advertising and editing fields in the past.
Bachelors Degree from Eastern US Liberal Arts college.
Over five years of ongoing Voice training with top trainers from LA and San Francisco.
I have also worked as an editor and advertising copywriter.
My studio consists of a Gold Series VocalBooth isolation studio outfitted with two Marshall Electronics Harlan Hogan MXL VO:1-A mics, each run though Microport Pro pre-amps. I use Twisted Wave on a Mac system for recording and editing.
I have worked for large Fortune top 20 corporations and small concerns. As well as voice skills, I have experience writing and editing commercial copy. I am very familiar with the requirements of online training and educational deliveries. My goal is to leave each client knowing they have a trusted partner for this and any future voice projects.
