I'll try to keep this in a psuedo-present tense...
I study theatre beginning in 1974. It is 1980 and I am living in Berkeley, CA working voice over in San Francisco. I move to London and work as a busker in 1981. I move to NYC and on to Charlotte, NC where I continue work in Voice Over with all the best recording studios in North Carolina and Georgia. I work in all aspects of TV, Radio, Film, Video, Theatre, Audio, and Announcer. Completing thousands of commercial projects, spokesperson roles and video dubs (and much more) I end up in VT and New Hampshire, it is 1991 at this point, where I actually find more work in Voice Over for 6 years! From there I move to Virginia, with three kids in tow, to work as a puppeteer on FNN and much more. I returned to Charlotte/Atlanta to do more voiceover and then work in Kansas City, MO to do more work as a puppeteer. Years later, 2004, I move back to CT and find myself recording books for the blind and dyslexic.
It is time to return to my roots and do more voice work! Nice to know what you want to do when you grow up.
Westminster School, Hamilton College, UMASS-Amherst, NYU, Connecticut College, Yale, NTI, Goddard College.
Yes, I went to them all!
Theatre companies around the country
Some of the best voice over talent, directors, producers and writers have shared their best work and best advice with me.
I absolutely will do long jobs and long readings. I have been a storyteller all over the country and recently have been recording books for the blind and dyslexic and make deals to help with non profits/psa's. I have done hundreds of projects.
I can be a first take talent. I can work 24/7 to make any project happen.
