I've worked in the corporate environment (SBC, Helwett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Vergy Inc.) for over 30 years and have a working knowledge of the corporate culture and how to deliver their message.
I volunteer for the San Francisco Lighthouse for the Blind which entails recording a variety of scripts for the Ligthouse radio station and recording books and articles for visually impaired clients.
I'm a professional vocalist with many performances under my belt. I believe my work as a singer gives me an extra added ability as a voice actor to interpret scripts, be sensitive to "timing" and the "melody" of the spoken word and to use the energy of the "moment" to deliver lines. I'm able to take and incorporate direction as well.
I'm a portrait artist. I do detailed work in graphite on papaer. Each work takes many hours to complete which I believe translates well to the tasks of voice-over because they require an attention to detail and a commitment to follow through to see the job to the end.
