I am a trained stage actor and have worked in film and stage for over thirty years. Ten years ago I started writing, editing and producing promos professionally and my clients noticed that my scratch tracks were often better than the professional VO talent they had hired. Eventually, many of my clients just came to me for their voice over needs. In 2009 I was diagnosed with throat cancer. Thankfully, am in full remission, but the resulting "gravel" in my voice is opening up a whole new world of opportunity for me. And so I have come to Voice123! BFA in Theatre Arts at University of Minnesota - 1985 MFA in Acting at Cornell University 1988. Singing lessons through my adult life As a professional promo producer I have directed awesome talent in hundreds of voice-over sessions. VO Talent for Biggest Loser resorts 2012 Campaign I have a home studio, recording and editing vocal tracks on Final Cut Pro Studio, Adobe Soundbooth, Soundtrack and Audacity. I record in a full sound booth and use a Studio Projects condenser microphone with a four-channel Behringer pre-amp. I am an experienced and trained actor, storyteller and singer who can take direction beautifully, while bringing a surprising depth of creativity to any project. Known as one of the top demo designer/editors in Los Angeles, I continue to run a small boutique editing house called Connerpost and continue to serve my Los Angeles-based clients as a copywriter, producer and voice over artist. I have produced, written, directed and edited over 600 promos for a prominent cable network. I have written and edited many narrative shorts (primarily comedy) for internet content production houses. I am also a motion graphics designer, fully fluent in Adobe After Effects, Motion, Color Correction and 3D typography.
