I have a very versatile voice and can shape and shift it into a variety of accents, dialects, impersonations and characterizations. For instance, I could be an Indian doctor, breaking some bad news to his manic, hypochondriac patient from Compton, who is then rudely interrupted by his overly sensitive male nurse who wants to discuss his working conditions, only to interrupted again by the anal retentive, snobbish CEO of the hospital who expects everyone to stop what they're doing when he walks in the door...who is himself interrupted by a second patient from a small town in a red state who moseys in and asks for more morphine in a delightfully folksy fashion.

Once upon a time there lived a grouchy old man and a anxiety prone woman from Cleveland...and they had a son. This son started drumming at 10 and played professionally for years. He earned his BA in Creative Writing, performed at The Second City in Chicago and was a morning show DJ at Classic Rock stations out west. He wasn't shy. He had a natural sense of comic timing. But most importantly, he still has a full head of hair. And he loves doing voiceovers. He primarily has worked on commercial reads for radio and TV ads from coast-to-coast. He got sidetracked for the last 10 years as a realtor in Bend Oregon but longs to get back on the VO horse and go for the biggest jobs in the business. Animation in Hollywood. National ads. Movie trailers. You name it, he wants to be an A- Lister. He knows it's going to take a lot of work...and a lot of luck. But he's from Cleveland. Emcee for various functions I normally have used Soundconcepts Recording for all my VO work, however, the owner has recently moved to Nashville and is currently building a new studio. So for the foreseeable future I would either head to my local radio station and record there on Adobe Audition in the studio, or use my small set up at home consisting of a 12 channel Mackie, a good quality Shure Mic and my Mac. I think the most intangible thing I bring to the table is my ability to improvise and adapt to any situation. I take direction very well. I can do a variety of different reads in any given situation. I'm hard working and want to give the client more than they asked for! I do believe that my background as a professional drummer, Improvisational Comic and Radio DJ is the perfect fit for a career in VO's.
