My Voice Experience
At an early age, I was aware that I had a distinctive voice for a female. Aside from my voice being loud and able to carry, it fluctuated even as a young grade school girl from average girl tone to low and husky boy tone. As long as I can remember, I was always cautioned as a kid that my voice was too loud and that I should tone it down, but I was never a loud mouth. I was never uncomfortable with my voice as a matter of fact, I learned that my voice being strong demanded attention rather I wanted it or not. I was given the opportunity as a former telecommunications employee to be certified as a trained facilitator in which I conducted training throughout my department and was recognized as a great facilitator. From there, I initiated myself to audiotape the comapany's Code of Business Conduct for
the employees. The feedback from the employees was positive. I also auditioned for the "ZEUM" in San Francisco, for a childrens radio show. Recently, I have
been participating in peotry readings and spoken word.
I am a certified facilitator by "KASET". I have recorded an audio tape for SBC for the Code of Business Conduct manadatory coverage. I auditioned for a role in a childrens radio show at the "ZEUM" in San Francisco.
I am in the process of editing a "coffee table book" I
wrote featuring short saying in southern style teaching the lessons of life.
Recently, I have been participating in poetry readings and live on stage spoken word performances.
