Your project is a big investment for you and your organization. My goal is to help you maximize that investment with a memorable vocal performance. I can make your copy sound conversational or cultivated, fun or formal, playful or profound, sarcastic or sincere. My voice is warm, soothing, clear, mature, smart, reassuring, friendly, and expressive.
You and your project deserve high quality recordings delivered on-time and ready to use; that is what I deliver. I am a dependable professional who takes pride in making his clients' priorities his own.
I enjoy applying my flexible vocal skills to creating new characters, doing celebrity impersonations, and bringing advertising copy to life with honest, natural performances. I have over thirty years experience as an actor, singer, and teacher.
As a classically trained singer, I have the vocal endurance for long studio sessions and projects. As a teacher, I have often recorded chapters, and sometimes entire audiobooks, for my students, so I am ready to manage complex copy with consistency and attention to detail. More than just a reader or announcer, I offer you and your project a complete and memorable performance.

Experience, training, and equipment
I have taught literature and writing for over twenty years, and I have performed regularly in drama, comedy, and musical theatre for my whole life. My profession and background make me finely attuned to the sound of language and nuances of tone that will make the difference in your project.
I'm usually cast in "leading man" and young dad roles. I am also a lifelong student of classic radio, film, television, music, and theatre with an expansive knowledge of entertainment styles and genres and I can emulate those styles as needed. With commercials, it's my job to help you get the most out of your ad copy with a performance, not just a read. However, if your project has a longer, more complex script, I am committed to delivering your words with engaging, expressive clarity that keeps clients and customers listening.
I completed extensive training in voice acting and technique with Brian S. Atwood of Brian S. Atwood Voice-Overs (www.briansatwood.com), noted professional voice actor/coach. My singing instructor and coach is Yvonne Robinson who holds a Ph.D. in Vocal Pedagogy from the Juilliard School of Music. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Theatre Arts and a Master's in English Literature.
My equipment includes:
Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Microphone
Monoprice Microphone Isolation Shield
GarageBand
Audacity
iMac
MacBook Air
iPad Pro
iPad mini
I also have access to a VocalBooth.com Platinum Series double-walled booth, Shure KSM27 microphone, and SM Pro Audio TB202 Tube PreAmp with Source-Connect and phone patch in-studio.
I can send all file formats (WAV, mp3, AIFF, etc.) as needed, on demand. I also have easy access to several top-level, professional recording studios in the Greater NYC area with SourceConnect and ISDN capabilities.
I look forward to working with you!
