My Voice Experience

US Army Airborne Ranger!...Really.

Known to be the only currently serving Ranger on the radio anywhere in the world!...Really.

Nearly 20 years of "on-air" radio broadcasting in Maryland near Washington D.C. (so if the home studio dies I can make use of radio station studios).

Long time morning and afternoon drive, former production director. Over 2,000 voiced and produced commercials that ran/run on the radio. Over 5,000 produced commercials, and more then 1,000 live "remote" broadcasts.

Performed as the voice (both live and recorded)for many clients to include Burger King, Mattress Warehouse, ProFlowers, Wolf Furniture, Giant Food, and over 100 local businesses. Testimonials available upon request.

Plus you'd be hiring a veteran with 17 years of Army service to include 5 years of overseas duty.
BONUS: As a Ranger I can not only record your scripts but also defend them from the enemy...Or blow them up.

My Training

Nearly 20 years in radio. On air, live on location, produced in the studio....have done it all. My voice over experience has been on the job actually doing it in the real broadcast world for a living.
It's like the difference between learning about jumping out of a plane in a classroom or actually jumping out one. You get good at it real fast since there is no second chance.
By the way...53 miltary static line parachute jumps and counting. It hasn't killed me yet and your script probably won't either....though my read of it may or may not make you wish it had.

My Studio Equipment

Home studio:
Cool Edit Pro 2.0 on an HP Pavillion G6
Gemini PS-626PRO Mixer
MXL 990 Condenser Microphone
MicroPower PS400 phantom power supply
Peavey260 Amp

Radio studios:
Lots of high tech gizmos, giant mixers, and blinky flashy things that our engineers make work.

Additional Skills

I do good work and am quite punctual if not early on most projects. I also tend to work cheaper than many other radio/voice folks. Probably since I eat less than them.
See above for mentions of military and radio service. I still currently serve/work in both.
I like cats, I own goats, what else could you possibly want to know?
