Voice Description

I can modify my mature male voice to any accent, dialect or geological region as needed. I have given hour long presentations in a Scottish accent andhave moderated teleconferences using a variable southern accent. When reading instructions my voice is easy to listen to and very easy to understand. I have found that the way you express your voice directly affects the audience and it will either attract them or replel them. I have been voice trained and feel that this field of work suits my talents.

My Voice Experience

Teleconference: I worked a a moderator of a weekly meeting that nobody ever wanted to attend. I changed that by adding music to the openeing of the meeting. It gave people an extra 3 or 4 minutes to dial in and not be late. I opened with a message and read a scripted introduction. People refered to it as the Stan Perlin Show. The idea was to grab the audience with the music because they did nto know what would be playing and then once I had their attention, I delivered the message.

My Training

I have a BA in History/Education.
I have been an IT professional for 35 years. During that this I have recorded corporate greetings for companies and for private people.
I was voice trained in New York and while I have never been a professional voice talent, because I have the ability to sight read, I will not over extend the cost of my talent during production periods. 1 take should do it.
