My Voice Experience

Shelley Sinclair

Has always been a bit of a character, a performer from the age of six - Shelley started her performing career in the Trade Union Social clubs of Great Britain.

After high school Shelley attended and graduated from The Park College of Dance and Drama in Sussex, England – where she was awarded the “Best Youth Actress” award.

After college Shelley moved to London and auditioned for and landed the role of the young Patsy Cline in the “Patsy Cline Story” which aired on Granada TV. Other television appearances followed but soon Shelley was offered the chance to come to America on a Country Music Showdown tour which toured the Northern States of America.

Shelley’s love of America and its people kept her here and it wasn’t long before she joined a touring Jazz lounge act that frequently appeared at Casino’s in Vegas, Reno, Shreveport and Aruba.

Unfortunately, in 2001 Shelley was diagnosed with an advanced form of Thyroid cancer. After two operations and countless radiation and chemotherapy treatments Shelley was left with a paralyzed vocal chord and an end to her professional singing career.

However, not being a quitter and having a performer’s spirit Shelley decided if she couldn’t sing for her supper then she would “talk” for it and so Shelley Sinclair the Voice-Over artist was born!

So, after a year of study under Bruce Carey of Voices Carey in Dallas, Texas – Shelley has demo in hand and is ready to embark on her new career.
