warm, quirky, sarcastic, relaxed, confident
I have a pleasant, warm, conversational tone for narrations, but my voice can have a darker, richer color as well. For commercials, I can do a very energetic, young, fun, bright type of voice. I have a number of character voices as well, ranging from snobbish, sophisticated and sarcastic, to friendly, funny, and charming.

My Voice Experience
I did some professional voiceover work as a child, and am just now getting back into it. When I was younger, I provided the voice for a photo booth kiosk in Levi Jean's flagship store in Union Square, San Francisco. I also voiced Wanda Li for the Houston Children's Museum's traveling exhibit, "The Magic School Bus Kicks Up a Storm." During most of my school years though, I focused more on acting and music. I am a classically trained soprano, with a repertoire of opera, musical theater and jazz. Now that I've started voiceover work again, I've been honing my skills with volunteer projects, many of LibriVox.org, which records audiobooks, poetry, and plays in the public domain. My LibriVox reader page can be found here - https://librivox.org/reader/8923.
I have over ten years of classical voice training. I have a BA from Columbia University, and while there, I studied vocal performance privately and in workshops for all four years. I also have an MFA in creative writing from the University of New Hampshire.
My Studio Equipment
I have a small studio with a Blue Yeti USB microphone, with pop shield, and a portable foam booth. I use Amadeus and Audacity editing programs.
Besides voiceover work, I am also a writer. I can write my own copy, or I can write copy for others. My master's degree focused on creative writing, so I've also written poetry, fiction, and scripts. I've had a number of poems published in various journals, both print and online.
