My Voice Experience

Well, most of my jobs in VO are of the straight-ahead variety - commercial work, narration, promo, that type of thing. And from time to time, I also do zany, character stuff.

But speaking of fun & zany, from about 2003 to 2009, I was proud to be the "token white guy" (!) on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, a nationally syndicated, African-American radio show. On the Tom Joyner Morning Show, I was part of a segment called "It's Your World" which was an over-the-top soap opera spoof - and on IYW, I was basically their all-purpose Jim Carrey type. So whenever the script called for a white police officer or a delivery boy or an FBI agent or a shirt salesman...I was it! A lotta fun!

As a side interest, I've been a writer for the Tolucan Times newspaper here in Los Angeles, since 2007.

My Studio Equipment

As of July 2010, I recently upgraded my in-home studio significantly by purchasing the FANTASTIC AudioTechnica AT2020 microphone! This, together with enhanced Audacity editing software allows me to deliver clear, rich - I dare say, mellifluous - digital sound recordings to you as well as to my various regional agents across the country.

Plus, the in-home sound booth I've recently constructed could fit a small European country inside of it. In fact, because of its size, high-end construction, and fantastic ambiance, Starbucks wants to open a franchise in my sound booth. Not really. But it is quite stellar.

Additional Skills

I am particularly passionate about any job that seeks to support our U.S. Military personnel. I've proudly - and for gratis - voiced a few items for Operation Gratitude, an outfit for whom I also do volunteer work. God bless our troops!
