I was an air personality in commercial broadcast radio for 6 years in small and medium markets. I produced radio commercials and also wrote and produced some of my own comedy bits.
I've been pursuing voice-over and narration since 2007, with my work mostly featured in industrial videos.
Besides countless hours of on-the-job training in commercial radio, I've traveled extensively to pursue professional voice-over training from the world's best instructors. I'm serious about my craft.
Most recently, I've completed Nancy Wolfson's daunting "Voice Acting for Advertising" curriculum with extensive one-on-one coaching from her. (Ms. Wolfson continues to be my coach.)
I have also taken voice-over classes and workshops from James Alburger and Penny Abshire (two telecourses and their three-day Performance Intensive), Lesley Bailey, Bob Bergen (twice), Sharon Bierut (twice), Marc Cashman, Pat Fraley (multiple workshops including guest instructors Ned Lott, Scott Brick, and Renee Raudman), Leslie Jane Kronish, Mary McDonald-Lewis, J.V. Martin, Deb Munro, and Mary Lynn Wissner (twice).
In addition to my voice-over and narration training, I possess a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and have many years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process development, and design.
Since learning is my passion, I've also continued with college courses in biology, chemistry, medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, and medical laboratory technology. I relish technical material.

I'm not just a voice talent, I'm a communicator and storyteller.
I can write and edit copy for attention, message clarity, a pleasing sound, and grammar.
I also have over 20 years of high technology experience, including many years at America's #1 computer chip company. I have taken college courses in Medical Terminology and a full series of Human Anatomy and Physiology. I'm familiar with engineering, technical writing, statistical methods, and experimental design.
I can speak the language of physicians, scientists, engineers, and technicians or I can make technical material understandable to lay people.
