Radio DJ type, deep, resonant, Midwestern American
My voice is naturally deep. I'm very comfortable with everything from narrations to characterizations. I like to experiment with different types of voices. My specialty is the game show announcer/radio dj voice, for lack of a better description.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
While my British accent is not perfect by any means, I can perform a stereotypical "English Rock Star" character. I can also do a "Southern Redneck" voice with great ease. As stated above, my specialty is the "Game Show Announcer" or "Radio DJ."
My Voice Experience
In June of 2012, I provided a narration for a video arts project that was put together by a professor at Indiana University South Bend. His name is Eric Souther and his video, "Myths of the Masses," can be seen at his website, unseensignals.com as well as on vimeo.com.
Aside from that, my experience has been limited to PA announcements at my place of employment and a listener commentary for the local NPR affiliate.
I'm also the announcer for the local roller derby team, the South Bend Studebreakers. A sample of my work for them can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReBokUEh8ac&feature=plcp .
I have a degree in telecommunications from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, with an emphasis in production.
I'm currently involved with the local roller derby team, the South Bend Studebreakers, as their announcer (see above).
I also did some brief work with WFHB, a local volunteer-run radio station in Bloomington, Indiana.
My Studio Equipment
I have a microphone that I can plug into my computer and record things using Audacity.
I can read well from a script, usually after only one read-through. I also like to write and can enhance a script if a client feels that it lacks something.
As stated above, the only equipment I have is a microphone, but if given access to a mixing board, I have a pretty good ear for mixing.
I'm fairly easy-going and work well with others.
