My Voice Experience
Wayne has over 22 years of combined experience in voice over, acting, broadcasting and audio technologies.
His Acting, Voiceover, and Broadcasting credentials include lead and supporting roles in church and community theatrical performances. Wayne was twice privileged to act under the tutelage of Actor & Acting Coach Ralph Tabikan.
Wayne also worked for a local Altoona, PA. FM radio station, WHPA, as a Control Board operator, Production Assistant, and co-hosted the morning drive show, The Real Oldies Morning Improv, with veteran broadcaster and Voiceover Artist, Denny Pompa.
Wayne has an Electronics Engineering degree (BSEE) and worked extensively in audio & sound technologies in his earlier career. He is privileged to have worked on sound systems, and client training in mixing and setup, for NIH, Bethesda Naval Hospital, University of Maryland, Loyola College, numerous schools and other facilities.
Wayne's vocal qualities and his ability to succinctly articulate in a clear and understandable manner, garnered frequent comments from his peers, referencing his professional sounding voice. Although Wayne's professional career for many years was in Telecommunications and Information Technology, he was often asked to record telephone messaging, greetings and voice other commercial applications for businesses upon installation of phone systems. While in the employ of Computer Sciences Corp., Capital One, Advanced Technology Integration, & others, he was often called upon to narrate and create corporate and technical presentations.
Wayne began his career as a full time Voice Over Artist and Long Form Narrator In 2005, upon leaving the IT business behind. He attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting, receiving high marks in his studies and kudos from other Voiceover and Broadcasting professionals impressed by his vocal style. Subsequently, He took his Voiceover career to a higher level by hiring a voiceover coach, enlisting the services of 20+ year Voiceover veteran and Voice Over Coach, Terry Daniel.
With over 16 years non-professional experience and seven years as a professional Voice Artist & Audiobook Narrator, Wayne has brought his professional vocal style, and knowledge of the Voice Over business, to a whole new level, earning the respect and recognition of his peers, as a true Voice Over professional.
Wayne's clients have given 100% positive feedback on the work he has performed and provided. His voice is new and unique, and he is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure complete client satisfaction.
