My Voice Experience
Once upon a time.......I expect that has been done many times; but the little girl grew up to be a Mummy herself. She spent many evenings reading wonderful stories to her children; but then all too soon they grew up and no longer needed those lovely words. Then along came the elderly people who wanted those clear, soft tones. So the full-time Mum, now out on release, began to use her voice to record newspapers for the blind with Kingston Talking News. She narrated a film for the mental health charity MIND. The accompanying sound-trail was made by Antenna International who invited her to join their database.
Funny Women of Richmond got to hear about her and her comedic approach was encouraged leading to several short stand-up performances. Now The Royal Star & Garter Home wanted her for appearances as Queen Victoria, Florence Nightingale, Mrs Dickens and even the Queen - all with her own script. Most recently Richmond Museum paid the grown-up girl to perform as Mrs Dickens. She had arrived.

My Studio Equipment
I do not have my own studio although I am able to record at home and forward recordings in MP3 format.
I do have easy access to recording studio.
You may wish to know that I am reliable and usually readily available. Living in Richmond is virtually London, so I can get to most places quickly. I have my own transport.
I have an Arts Degree and speak some French and Italian.
I spent 12 years managing funds in the City so have been used to working in a team and find it easy to mix with everyone. When asked by the Star & Garter what I thought I could offer in terms of voluntary work my reply was.....FUN!
They loved it!
