Blue Collar, Funny, Character, Sarcastic, Friendly
First, I am SAG eligible, but that was not a choice on the selections. Also, I mentioned my VO career started in 1983. After college (Communications Major), I worked for a radio station doing news, sports, weather, and commercials.
My voice is somewhat deep and rich enough to carry anything "serious"; like a doctor, lawyer, businessman, etc...
Serious, caring, or comedic in many tones.
Accents/character voices are where I have fun.

My Voice Experience
I started in radio in Dunkirk, NY... back in 1983.
Moved to L.A. for music, but drifted back to acting, improv, and stand-up where I could really bring my voices to life.
Was fortunate enough to become the voice/voices of a company called Visionati, but they were ahead of their time. Now, their vision is seen in reality TV and video games all over the planet. Unfortunately, the demo copy they gave me was worthless. Awesome. Never work for free!
I've trained with all sorts of acting teachers and have performed in commercials, plays, stand-up, voice over... and most recently kept my chops up with Kalmenson and Kalmenson in Burbank, CA.
I also have an Animation/Character demo that was edited down from a project that was supposed to be part of a comedy radio show. The show never took off, because the producer had marital problems and moved. However, the material was recorded at the Westwood One Studios in Culver City, CA. So, I edited it into a demo for representation purposes only. It highlights the voices I can sustain. Please keep in mind... these are the "dry" tracks. No sound effects.
-Fredonia State University (NY) - Communications/Theatre
-WDOE-1410 AM (Dunkirk, NY)- newsman/disc jockey
-Second City (Santa Monica, CA)= one year training
-Upfront Comedy (Second City's offspring) - 7 years performing throughout Southern California, pretty much nightly with no pay! Lots of fun, though!
-Judy Carter's Stand-Up Workshop
-Promenade Playhouse Acting Conservatory (5 years)
-Vox Humana Theatre Company - 3 years
-Greg Dean's Stand Up Workshops - 1 year, many performances at the Comedy Store.
-Kalmenson and Kalmenson (Voice Over; Burbank, CA)
-Marc Graue Studios-- produced my Commercial Demo. Not a plug for him, but very cool guy, and created a nice representation of what I can do!
I also have TV commercials under my belt, and was asked by Toyota to do a VO spot after we shot the TV commercial. Both projects were scrapped when Toyota decided to market in a different direction, but I was still paid! (We shot a "Midwest" version. They decided to go with a more flashy "L.A." version. Trust me. You saw the spot many times.)
My Studio Equipment
Nothing at home, but I'm centrally located in L.A. with access to whatever you need.
I'm versatile, and flexible enough to take direction in anyway you want to take it. Most importantly... I am extremely fun to work with!!! I'm just a blue-collar guy at heart. I appreciate the opportunity to work, and do not waste time or your money by being full of "drama". We'll have fun in the process. Guaranteed! I thank you, in advance! Look forward to hearing from you! Take care.
