Smooth sophistication, personal appeal
With three decades as a radio personality, I have developed a varied delivery with attention to a neutral dialect and proper pronunciation. This being said, I also understand the importance of interpretation of the copy. I welcome the challenge of bringing the script to life, whether it's ad copy, narration or character based.

My Voice Experience
My professional voice over career began in 1981 with my first full-time job as a radio air personality. My radio broadcasting jobs have always involved writing, recording and producing commercials for air. For three decades I learned to expertly interpret copy according to the needs of the client. In 1987 I was co-owner and partner in an independent audio production company. Electric Dog Productions created industrial narrations, commercials for radio and TV, jingle production and band demos. Since then, I have maintained a home recording studio, through which I provide a variety of voice over services.
Radio broadcasting has always been my first love and I have worked at ten different stations. Most recently I worked for Clear Channel radio in Albany NY. 2010 marked the end three decades of that career path.
Today I have rededicated myself to the art of voice over and voice acting. There are several clients that I work for including Keeler Motor Car Company, Latham NY; Saratoga County Fair; Wyrestorm Technologies; Rebuilding Together and Hudson Crossing Park.
At the tender age of 14 I knew that being an on-air personality in radio was my destiny. I joined the Oneonta High School Radio Club in 1974. From there I learned the technology of radio broadcasting at a the local college radio station-WRHO. When it came time to attend college, I selected a four year school specifically for Radio/TV Broadcasting-New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, NY. While attending NYT, I enrolled in a full time schedule of radio and TV courses in addition to the required courses. Naturally, I gravitated to the on-campus radio station WNYT. Within the first semester, I was a member of the radio station, first as a newscaster, then as an on-air personality. During my time at NYT and WNYT I gained advanced level knowledge of all aspects of on-air work. That included creating on-air voice overs. It was the spring semester of college in 1981 when I was offered a position of morning drive personality at a local station called Apple Radio. Three months later I was offered a position at WDOS/WSRK in Oneonta, NY. I still had one more year at college, but I opted to finish school later. Thirty years later, following the end of my broadcasting career, I returned to finish my bachelors degree in Communications and New Media at SUNY Empire State College. While attending SUNY, I gained new skills such as digital video editing using Apple's Final Cut Pro. Combined with my voice over skills and digital audio editing, I created short form videos for several of my classes. I'm hoping to continue utilizing this skill set, as well as furthering my voice acting education and career.
