My Voice Experience
I hosted a PBS series ("Standard Deviants") for five years, for which I also did extensive educational VO's. Some of those VO's were as a narrator and some were as fun characters (e.g.: as a big orange, or a molecule with a silly voice, etc.). Thus began my love of voice-over work. In '97-'98, I did my first commercial VO's for local radio and television spots. A little later, I voiced a cartoon version of myself for an educational website. Then it was time to earn my "wings," so I played a large role as a strong sexy pigeon (yes, this pigeon was sexy), Dominique, in the animated feature film, "Flying Heroes." In addition, I voiced various young little male and female chicks for the film. Plus, I've used my voice for ADR work on CBS's "NCIS." Painting with my voice is a joy for me.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with Speech Communication as my minor in college. I've taken various acting and voice classes at James Madison University, the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory (Washington, DC), Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and Larry Moss Studio (including directly w/Larry Moss). I participated in an intensive clowning workship with Gates McFadden. I've also studied in an extensive VO class through Voice Forward with Anna Garduno as my teacher/coach.

At home recording capabilities with a Snowball iCE Blue microphone. I edit my own voice tracks.
