My Training

My presentation styles and productions methods are largely self taught, and in 2012, I received professional training with legendary Australian voice over coach Gary Mac.

I have also attended a number of online workshops and seminars from Terry Daniel, Edge Studio and VoiceOverClub.

A life long talk radio enthusiast, and more recently a podcast & new media devotee, I have spent many years studying the styles of the best Australian, UK and American presenters. I have found the online video work of Leo Laporte (This Week In Tech Network) to be a great inspiration and training tool, and have been privileged to have spent time in his studios in California on two occasions.

As life is a journey of learning, I have found over the years that you can do just as well in many fields by observing and practicing, as you can by attending big institutions. This has been my journey, and it continues to fascinate me.
