Sarah Lalin

Versatile, Character, Commercial, Accents

Voice Description

I have a naturally mid-toned and clear voice, but am incredibly versatile. I can vary my pitch and tone in extreme ways and am a natural mimic. I excel at various accents and dialects as well as specialized character voices and sounds. I am a classically trained singer, as well, and am comfortable with a wide range of styles and genres of music.

My Voice Experience

I'm new to voice overs, but have done some demo recording before, including singing in character/comedic styles. My experience is mostly stage work, performing in both "straight" plays and musical theatre. I also have some experience of public speaking, narration, and reading of poetry and religious texts.

My Training

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre from Millikin University. In addition, I've taken various classes including basic and advanced commercial, audition workshops, and a voice-over workshop. I've performed in numerous stage plays and musicals, as well as concerts, small groups, and choirs.

My Studio Equipment

I don't have my own studio at the moment, but there are plenty around!

Additional Skills

I'm very good with technical language and cold reading. I'm a quick study and usually don't require too much time to digest information and get the right kind of take.
