My Voice Experience
I was recruited to do voice over narrations for Central TV schools programmes (broadcast on C4) when the producer heard me in phone calls about writers Ian McMillan / Martyn Wiley who I worked with. Numerous programmes/series later, I had become known as a bit of a one-take wonder!
I have voiced a wide range of interactive revision programmes for Boardworks, radio commercials, BBC Radio 2 drama, Arts programmes, stories for BBC Network North, Sweet Death Come Softly novel adaptation (including voices for all the characters), promos, radio plays
Trained in Radio and Television as part of Drama degree at Hull University plus voice workshops with a wide variety of professionals
My Studio Equipment
Studio Line mic
yeti mic at home and Porta-Booth Pro; access to fully equipped sound studio
Hugely experienced in improvisation including as the phone-in guest for BBC Radio Sheffield - Ian McMillan and Martyn Wiley would telephone and conduct an interview with me as an 'expert' character. Nothing would be fixed in advance and I would have to talk about anything from suiting up a sheep for a (fictitious) wool festival in Huddersfield to creating/touring a play set in a mobile library.
An established working actor, I perform in stage, screen, roleplay and voice projects.
I am a frequent guest contributor to radio/TV items about fundraising and MS issues.
Presenter/producer of online lifestyle magazine programme - WAWOW, broadcasting on TTA.tv from Pinewood Studios. See WAWOW.co.uk for more information
